About Us

In 1900, French inventor Raoul Grimoin-Sanson conducted a grand experiment in film and art in Paris – a 360-degree panoramic film and art installation with a hot air balloon at its centre. Like that early Cinéorama experiment, we believe in bringing you a 360-degree view of film, arts and culture.

Cinéorama UK is a not-for-profit site (we believe in social, educational, or community benefit rather than profit), run and managed by volunteers. All advertising revenue goes into website maintenance and development, and advertising is restricted to ensure it does not impede your reading. 

We are proud voting members of GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ+ Entertainment Critics and The Doc Society. Images and videos are used with the direct permission of studios, theatres, production companies, and distributors and are not to be reproduced.
