Into The Blue (2005) - Dive back into the 00's

Capelight Pictures and Altitude have announced the re-release of the 00s lost treasure Into the Blue on Blu-ray on 27th May. Pre-order now.

Directed by John Stockwell and starring the late Paul Walker, Jessica Alba, and Josh Brolin, Into the Blue takes 00s action to deeper levels. The new Blu-ray disc includes deleted scenes, audio commentary, and a “Making-of” Featurette: Diving Deeper Into The Blue.

While diving off the coast of the Bahamas, four friends, Jared (Paul Walker), Sam (Jessica Alba), Amanda, and Bryce, discover the wreckage of a legendary sunken ship. Nearby lies a crashed transport plane, with a different kind of cargo on board, landing each of the friends in hot water as greed turns their idyllic setting into a living nightmare.

Into the Blue may not offer much narrative depth, with some standard Hollywood action-thriller clichés thrown in for good measure, but it does offer some genuinely epic underwater filming, stunning locations, and damn fine stunt work, which more than makes up for the relatively simple premise.
