This weekend, the inaugural UK MUBI FEST is taking place at Manchester’s Aviva Studios, home of Factory International.
The programme revolves around the previously announced headline screenings with director Q&As: the Northern Premiere of Levan Akin’s (And Then We Danced) new film Crossing; an exclusive opportunity to see the latest film from the celebrated directorial duo the Ross Brothers’ (Bloody Nose Empty Pockets, Contemporary Color) Gasoline Rainbow on the big screen; and a special advance preview of Manchester-born filmmaker Naqqash Khalid’s debut feature In Camera.
Tickets for each Q&A screening are available HERE.
In addition to the headline screenings, Aviva Studios will host plenty of free activities and experiences throughout the weekend.
The festival will have plenty of delicious food and drink on offer, including Most Wanted for drinks, Manchester favourites Pasta Factory for fresh Italian fare, and the Aviva Studios offering by Super Serve, which includes tacos, pizzas, breakfast burritos, small plates, as well as a bar truck and £6.50 MUBI FEST cocktails all weekend.
There’s so much to discover and more surprises in store. So book your tickets now and head down to Aviva Studios this weekend.
