PECCADILLO PICTURES PRESENTS BOYS ON FILM 24: HAPPY ENDINGS. On DVD, Blu-Ray and On Demand April 15

It’s always hard to say goodbye, especially to a series that has brought us some of the best gay shorts in the world since 2009. It’s been one hell of a journey, taking us from Nightswimming with Harry Eden to lakeside encounters with Xavier Dolan, an Irish boy named James seeking the support of his teacher, and a shed full of deadly bugs, and even deadlier teens in Bugcrush. Over fifteen glorious years, Boys on Film has celebrated the power of short-form filmmaking, offering first-time and early-career filmmakers and actors an opportunity to reach new audiences.

But now, after taking us around the globe and back again, it is time to bid a fond farewell with the 24th and final physical edition of the Boys On Film short film collections. But if you’ve got to go, go with a bang! Peccadillo treats us to eleven films from around the world that offer a diverse range of personal insights into LGBTQ+ life.

Pose star Jeremy McClain makes his directorial debut with You Like That, whilst Enzo Vogrincic, from Netflix’s Oscar-nominated Society of the Snow, appears in the Uruguay short Sea Sparkles. Neil Ely and Lloyd Eyre-Morgan’s S.A.M., starring CBeebies Presenter George Webster and Sam Retford (Coronation St), and Fabia Martin’s The Rev, starring Jack Holden, are among the highly praised British shorts included in the celebration.

Farewell, Boys on Film, you were fabulous!
