Glasgow FrightFest tickets go on sale as guests are announced

As single tickets go on sale for FrightFest’s annual 3-day event at The Glasgow Film Festival, the first confirmed list of guests has been revealed.


Some familiar FrightFest faces will be in attendance, including CONSECRATION director Chris Smith (SeveranceTriangleThe Banishing), LITTLE BONE LODGE director Matthias Hoene (Cockneys Vs Zombies) and IRATI director Paul Urkijo (Errementari). Chris will be joined by Scottish-based cast members Thoren Ferguson and Eilidh Fisher.

One of the most eagerly-anticipated films is WINNIE THE POOH: BLOOD AND HONEY, and joining us will be director Rhys Waterfield (Croc!), alongside his lead cast, including Amber Doig-Thorne, Natasha Tosini, Craig Dowsett, and Chris Cordell. Another title with terrific buzz is HERE FOR BLOOD, a comedy horror discovery of the year from Canadian-based director Daniel Turres, who will be present alongside writer James Roberts and the film’s star Joelle Farrow.

Making her feature film debut with MOTHER SUPERIOR is Austrian director and multi-media artist Marie Alice Wolfszahn, who will be attending alongside #chadgetstheaxe director Travis Bible, also making his full-length feature film debut. Travis is joined by cast members Spencer Levin and Cam Vitosh.



ONYX: THE FORTUITOUS AND THE TALISMAN OF SOULS is based on director Andrew Bowser’s viral character, Onyx, who has over a million TikTok followers, and Andrew will be in the house, accompanied by key cast and crew.

Tickets for the two Thursday night films, SMOKING CAUSES COUGHING and SISU, plus individual tickets for the Fri/Sat films, are on sale Mon 30 January, from noon. Price: £11.50 / £9.30 (concessions)

In person: Glasgow Film Theatre, 12 Rose Street, Glasgow G3 6RB, during normal box office hours – Friday and Sunday to Thursday from 30 minutes before the first performance and closes 15 minutes after the last performance starts. Saturday from 11am to 15 minutes after the last performance starts.

All performances will start at the advertised start time with no adverts or trailers. Late ticket holders will not be admitted.

FrightFest Weekend Passes are currently on sale.  Passes will be exchanged for admission wristbands, which must be worn at all times to access all FrightFest films on Fri, 10 March and Sat, 11 March ONLY.
