Berlinale confirms the first titles in its Panorama and Generation strands for 2026 


Berlinale has confirmed the first titles in its Panorama and Generation strands for the Berlin International Film Festival running from February 12 to 22, 2026.


Powerful independent filmmaking, documentary works balancing poetry and urgency, and bold young German-language cinema: Berlinale Panorama has unveiled its first twelve titles. Among the ten world premieres and five feature debuts are new works by Danielle Arbid, Patric Chiha, Kelly O’Sullivan & Alex Thompson, Anna Roller, Faraz Shariat, Ian de la Rosa and Sebastian Brameshuber. Explore the programme.


Berlinale Panorama and Generation First Titles

Berlinale Generation has confirmed the first titles in the Generation Kplus and Generation 14plus competitions. Five feature films and seven short films from 13 countries sketch the initial outlines of an already exciting and dazzling programme. Among the entries are seven world premieres and three feature‑length debuts.
