UK Original Series Rivals and In Vogue: The 90’s plus Marvel Television’s Agatha All Along, Doctor Odyssey, and Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band are set to arrive on Disney+ this autumn.


Disney+ has confirmed upcoming titles set to premiere exclusively on the service in the UK & Ireland this autumn, including the star-studded UK Original drama series Rivals, based on the iconic novel from Dame Jilly Cooper, Marvel Television’s Agatha All Along starring Kathryn Hahn and Joe Locke, Lucasfilm’s next Star Wars series Star Wars: Skeleton CrewDoctor Odyssey from Ryan Murphy, and all new seasons of Only Murders in the BuildingGrey’s AnatomyAbbott Elementary, and FX’s The Old Man.



UK Original Rivals, produced by Happy Prince, part of ITV Studios, is the highly anticipated eight-part series based on the celebrated novel by Dame Jilly Cooper. Set against the backdrop of the drama, excess, and shocking antics of the power-grabbing social elite of 1980s England, Rivals delves headfirst into the ruthless world of independent television in 1986. The star-studded cast includes Alex Hassell, Bella Maclean, Katherine Parkinson, David Tennant, Aidan Turner, Nafessa Williams, Emily Atack, Catriona Chandler, Danny Dyer, Rufus Jones, Lisa McGrillis, Luke Pasqualino, Claire Rushbrook and Victoria Smurfit.

Joining the UK Original slate this autumn is the six-episode docu-series In Vogue: The 90’s, featuring an A-list cast from the worlds of fashion, film and music, alongside Vogue’s Anna Wintour, Edward Enninful, Hamish Bowles and Tonne Goodman. This landmark series reveals the inside story of the 90’s most celebrated fashion and pop culture moments.

Other entertainment includes the freshman crime procedural High Potential from Oscar®nominated writer Drew Goddard and starring Kaitlin Olson, plus the highly anticipated new drama Doctor Odyssey from executive producer Ryan Murphy and starring Joshua Jackson and Don Johnson. Additionally, Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band is an exciting new documentary offering the most in-depth look ever at the creation of their legendary live performances and behind the scenes at their 2023-2024 World Tour. After Baywatch: Moment in the Sun, a new docuseries that delivers a nostalgic and insightful exploration of Baywatch, the cultural phenomenon that defined an era, and an unprecedented look into the stars who brought the world’s most famous lifeguards to life. 



Critically acclaimed, award-winning hit series Only Murders in the Building (27 August), Abbott Elementary and FX’s The Old Man, as well as 9-1-1 and the 21st season of Grey’s Anatomy, are all returning to Disney+ for brand new seasons this autumn.

Marvel fans can also look forward to the highly anticipated Agatha All Along (19 September). A spin-off of the acclaimed WandaVision series, Agatha All Along follows the infamous Agatha Harkness as she finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth Teen helps break her free from a distorted spell. Agatha and the mysterious Teen must form a coven and take the dangerous journey down the Witches’ Road if she has any hope of regaining her witchy powers.

Star Wars fans can look forward to Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (4 December). Starring Jude Law in his first appearance in the Star Wars galaxy, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew follows the journey of four kids who make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, then get lost in a strange, dangerous galaxy and must try to find their way home, while crossing paths with the likes of Jod Na Nawood, the mysterious character played by Law.

Plus, joining the autumn slate is Nat Geo’s four-part series Tsunami: Race Against Time. Marking 20 years since one of the deadliest natural disasters in history, which spanned 14 countries, Tsunami: Race Against Time provides a 360-degree view into the heart-stopping events of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. The powerful series, from executive producers Tanya Winston and Danny Horan of multi-award-winning Blast Films and directed by Daniel Bogado, Emmy Award-winning filmmaker of Nat Geo’s 9/11: One Day in America, features personal accounts from survivors, scientists who raced against time to understand the catastrophic disaster and warn the world, journalists who broke the shocking news, and the fearless rescuers who risked their lives to save others. Told minute by minute through harrowing video and gripping stories of survival and courage – some both seen and heard for the first time – the four-part series offers the most comprehensive and immersive look at the destructive wave as it surged across the ocean, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake.
