The film is nominated at the 2024 Academy Awards for Best Animation Feature after rounding out 2023 with wins for Best Animated Feature at the European Film Awards, the Special Jury Prize at Animation is Film Festival and the Annecy International Animated Film Festival, where it won the Contrechamp Award for Best Film after its debut in Cannes.
It’s a heartfelt story that follows Dog, who lives alone in Manhattan and decides to build himself a robot companion.
