As part of BFI Flare at home, BFI Flare Programmer Michael Blyth speaks with director Olivier Ducastel about Don’t Look Down. Directed by Olivier Ducastel and Jacques Martineau (Theo and Hugo, BFI Flare 2016) this deliciously enigmatic chamber piece is a sly critique on power, submission and the destructive side of love. The film was part of the 2020 BFI Flare programme. Plus director Suzanne Guacci talks about T11 INCOMPLETE. Her heartfelt and moving drama about the power of love and forgiveness. Past mistakes haunt the present and threaten a new love affair between an older woman and her patient.
