BFI Flare 2020 Cancelled amid growing health advice

1 min read

We are sad to announce that this years BFI Flare Festival has now been cancelled due to growing health advice. We fully support and understand the complex situation the BFI has faced over the last few weeks. And would like to thank the all of the Flare team for their continued dedication and support. Where possible we will continue to try and bring you the latest in LGBTQ film over the coming months. And would ask all those who purchased tickets to remember that the BFI is a charity when requesting refunds.

Unfortunately the picture at the BFI is reflected worldwide in arts and entertainment. And as a result you may see less reviews on Cinerama for new and upcoming features. But we will continue to explore the archive of film in bringing you the best retrospectives.

Our film industry and exhibitors have never needed more help. And we hope you will all continue to offer them your unwavering support over the coming months. The BFI Southbank remains open as usual at this point in time.
