Quick Read Review

Utterly beautiful film making wrapping you in its haunting mystery from the outset. I can’t say much without ruining this film, and I’m certainly not about to do that. Performances are outstanding, full of intrigue and calm in the midst of a spiralling story. Lee Chang Dong takes his time building a sense of foreboding, never rushing to an easy climax, while the cinematography and score add to your increasing unease. Echoing Hitchcock at his best this is undoubtedly one of the best films of the year.
